Our First internal event already done.

TFT PBoX HIV AIDS “From Us To All” at Yorie Jeng Kelin’s House, Saturday and Sunday (20-21 November 2010).

This TFT purpose are increasing our knowledge about many thing, like marketing skill, communication skill, being facilitators skill, and many others. This session was given by LCVP Communication, and LC TM manager. And there was be Sharing Session about PBoX HIV AIDS by bang Arlan and Kak Cici (KCB).

But the important thing is, we got HIV AIDS Knowledge from our external speaker, dr. Ferucha Moulanda.

We can focus although feel sleepy and hungry.

dr. Ucha have full spirit to share about HIV AIDS knowledge to us. She deliver her presentation in very interesting way. Knowledge from external speaker make us ask so many question. The situation is like momy and daughter discuss, ask and answer without feel afraid or shy. Actually, four hours is too short to discuss about HIV AIDS.

Eventhough this event run in 2 days, we can’t feel the tired, because it already covered by knowledge, having fun together and make a new story together.

We closed the TFT with happy feeling and nervous to start the next project, but we sure we can do it well.

Hi AIESEC!

Now, AIESEC LC UA come back with PBoX HIV AIDS that will run on November 2010 untill February 2011 (it seems like this project spend 1 year to run). After OCP and OC already elected, we start to plan a really amazing event in our PBoX. Like usual, the meeting always take place in café (I don’t know what the exact place that I have to called) or AIESEC Office. After serious meeting, we had a serious photo session.

Donation Day for MINANGKABAU!

Finally, we held the event that directly we made it for give a real contribution for Minangkabau on June 20, 2010 at Aula Fakultas Ekonomi Jati Universitas Andalas. We called it DONATION DAY FOR MINANGKABAU. 

This event head for collect the donation for the participant to help rebuild some school that need it. all of ticket fee will be donate for it without exception.

All OCs and OCP got a busy week for prepare this event, because this is the biggest event presented by PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2, "Awaken for Bright Future".

We invite three peoples from three famous NGO became our external speaker, they are Mr. Tkahasi Riyoji from JICA(Japan International Cooperate Agency), Mrs. Endang Trisna from Mercy Corps, and Ms. Dian Noviany from KOGAMI. The participants got so many learning from them about earthquake education even earthquake experience from them.

 

Beside that, we put art performances into this event. There are earthquake theatrical from Studio Merah, Accoustic music from HIMA Management UNAND, Japanese dancer, and the most wanted performance by trainees, they shown us their talent with perform traditional dance from minangkabau. What a great show!

2nd Workshop of PBOX Earthquake 2 at SMK NUSATAMA

The 2ndorkshop was held on May 29th 2010 at SMK NUSATAMA, Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 9, PADANG BARAT, KOTA PADANG. With the theme Be Awaken For The Bright Future, this workshop was attended by over 110 participants. It was consist of 85 students of SMK NUSATAMA, 10 trainees from many countries, and also AIESEC members. The workshop started at 900 am and ended at 100 pm.

The first agenda was speech from OCP of PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2 and also speech from headmaster of SMK NUSATAMA. After that, we continue our agenda by dividing all of students into 8 groups with 1 trainee and 1 OC of PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2 so that the students can share their earthquake experience. Not only that, the students also had to make evacuation map of their school in a piece of paper. There was so many reward for the best students and the best groups who was active during the session. The students got a lot of knowladge about earthquake and tsunami from presentation that given by facilitator. This workshop was so excited when the trainees performed a drama gesture about earthquake.

All of the activity that have done not only will increase the students’ knowledge about earthquake and tsunami, but also teach them what should and shouldn’t they do if earthquake and tsunami happen.

COMING SOON, OUR BIG EVENT, DONATION DAY!!! June 20, 2010

1st Workshop PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2 at SMP 5 Padang

Haiii AIESEC??? What's up???

PBOX Earthquake 2 is in the house yow... we're back again to make a positive impact in society. Now, our mission is to give education about earthquake to junior high school students. That's why we choose SMP N 5 Padang as our place to make our mission success.

The event was very full of knowledge, but we create it on fun way, so no session for bored today. And of course it's full of roledance too. We're happy too because the students join with us to do it together. Today, we have FACI Team (nike andina, jessica winda, feni hardy, risa lianda putri). they did a great job. sharing their knowledge directly.

the event start from 9am until 2pm. but the students still patient to follow every sessions of this workshop. BIG THANKS to SMP 5, because they support our event by giving their permission to us to held our event there. because 3days before our event, our first place to held 1st workshop canceled it.
