Haiii AIESEC??? What's up???

PBOX Earthquake 2 is in the house yow... we're back again to make a positive impact in society. Now, our mission is to give education about earthquake to junior high school students. That's why we choose SMP N 5 Padang as our place to make our mission success.

The event was very full of knowledge, but we create it on fun way, so no session for bored today. And of course it's full of roledance too. We're happy too because the students join with us to do it together. Today, we have FACI Team (nike andina, jessica winda, feni hardy, risa lianda putri). they did a great job. sharing their knowledge directly.

the event start from 9am until 2pm. but the students still patient to follow every sessions of this workshop. BIG THANKS to SMP 5, because they support our event by giving their permission to us to held our event there. because 3days before our event, our first place to held 1st workshop canceled it.

Opening Event of PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2

Finally, we held the opening event of PBOX Earthquake this morning at SD TIRTONADI, April 24, 2010. Although we just have a short time, but congrats for OC Programmer who able to arrange this event (again). Every students look happy and enjoy it. So many activities they did, such as drawing competition and of course get earthquake education from our learning partner KOGAMI.

This opening was attended by representative from our partner, NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORK.

PBOX EARTHQUAKE

 

 

Project based on exchange Earthquake is the implication of AIESEC’s caring as global organization in helping societies to recover trauma that caused by Earthquake, especially children. Earthquake that happened in Sumatra Barat on 30 September 2009 crushed ‘Ranah Minang’ especially Padang as the capital city of Sumatra Barat.

The focus of this project is to recover and heal children traumatic. So we take the theme

“Spread Spirit to Children (SSTC)”
